Having a child
Marriage
Breakups
Divorce
Lawsuits

I get it - many of the things on this list and on your list make NO SENSE…
Some of the things create pain…
Some of the things create uncertainty…
Some of the things create frustration…
Some of the things create doubt…
Some of the things create fear…
BUT WHAT IF THEY WERE OPPORTUNITIES DISGUISED AS…
Pain
Uncertainty
Frustration
Doubt
Fear
This is what I mean when I ask…
What if your #1 challenge was happening FOR YOU and not TO YOU?
A number of years ago, when SYNDUIT was a marketing agency, we had a HUGE thought-leader client hire us to be his agency. The first order of duty was to build a campaign for a new product launch that he forecasted would do $10,000,000 in sales within the first 30-days and we would keep 20% of all revenue as our compensation.
The agreement was signed…
The plan was designed…
The work was completed…
And now it was WEBINAR night…
We had 22,341 people registered for this webinar…
We tested EVERYTHING a dozen times or more…
WE WERE READY!
Until the webinar was about to begin and guess what happened…
20,000+ people decided to join at the same time and the 3rd party platform CRASHED!
It took over 1-hour for the webinar to turn on and the attendance ended up being 1,700 total people…
Our thought-leader client was pissed…
Our agreement was burned…
Our compensation was eliminated…
AND…
NOTHING about this situation felt like an opportunity happening FOR ME...rather...a challenge happening TO ME!
But remember…
EVERY life situation, circumstance, experience, etc. is AN OPPORTUNITY!
And the OPPORTUNITY for me was the realization that I did not want to be an agency anymore…
I wanted to democratize the agency by making it accessible for ALL which set me on a path to become a non-techy entrepreneur who launched a software company that scaled and how now allowed me to step into the role of being the Founder of CILA Labs, which is a tech incubator that enables other entrepreneurs with tech ideas to partner with us to bring their ideas to life, scale, serve, and exit.
ALL BECAUSE…
Even the darkest of dark situations is happening FOR ME and NOT TO ME!
And the same holds true for you…
Whether it’s COVID, financial stress, health challenges, political fear, relationship whoas, death or anything else that FEELS like it’s happening TO YOU…

I also know the universe is conspiring for you to WIN…
And what I REALLY know to be true is this statement…
In the END it will ALWAYS be great…
And if it’s not GREAT…
It’s NOT the end…
