I think about this all of the time…
What if I stopped…?
What if I stopped when I started questioning whether I could…?
What if I stopped when I began pondering Plan B’s?
What if I stopped when the going got tough?
Well, here’s what would have NOT happened…
1 - I would not have gotten married
2 - Which would have meant that I would not have had my two WHY’s (Taylee and Ryker)
3 - Which would have meant that I would have zero balance in my life and would have burnt out as an entrepreneur…
4 - Which would have meant that SYNDUIT would not be supporting 40,000+ small businesses
5 - Which would have meant that CILA Labs would have never been launched
6 - Which would have meant that 1,000’s of ideas would never have seen the light of day
7 - Which would have meant that I would not be sharing this message with you, right here and right now…
And outside of these 7 things that would not have happened - there are 100’s - 1,000’s of others that would have also been altered or nonexistent if I stopped one step before making it.
The crazy, disturbing, and unfortunate reality is that most people stop one step before making it…
Things get slightly difficult and they quit…
Someone doubts them and they decide their idea was not viable…
Resources are tight and they change course…
And if this is you - I hope you are disturbed enough to do something about it.
I say this all of the time and I am going to say it again…
The majority of potential…
The majority of ideas…
The majority of solutions…
LIVE IN THE GRAVEYARD!
Because people die with these gifts…
these talents…
these answers…
INSIDE!
And the reason they die with their potential is because they stop one step (literally ONE STEP) before they make it…
Play the game with me…
Pick the most significant decision of your life…
For most, this is their marriage…
For others, their business…
Or anything in between…
The evening I was meant to go on my first date with Lindsay (my wife), my spring allergies were raring out of control.
Everything inside said...PASS ON IT!
I was tired…
I was uncomfortable…
I was mentall drained…
But I did it anyway…
This could have been a moment where I stopped one step before making it…
But instead…
I made it and the rest is history….
Lindsay and I got married…
We live an EPIC life with our two children…
I learned the importance of MY CODE…
SYNDUIT accelerates as a result…
CILA LABS launches and will 100% change the world by creating, innovating, launching, and accelerating positively disruptive technology solutions that simplify the complex…
And all of this is because of ONE decision…
To go on my last first date…
But there have been 100’s of other times as well where stopping made more sense than continuing…
And do you know what I did…
CONTINUED and it’s the reason I have what I have and this decision will be the reason you get what you want or fall short…
Each opportunity we have to make a decision is one of those moments…
It’s the moment when you take the next step…
OR
It’s the moment you stop…
But before you select the latter option which is to STOP…
Try and envision what this will mean for your life…
This does not mean to perseverate on decisions, but it does mean that if the going is getting tough…
CONTINUING might be the best option…
Because right around the corner is YOU MAKING IT!
Here for you always - because CONTINUING is not easy, but it’s far more difficult to fall short of what you ultimately want to achieve by stopping one step before making it!
