WHY compromise?
WHY settle?
WHY give up what matters to you?
The only reason why I believe people don’t have what they want is because they are still not firm on their CODE (Code = https://bit.ly/2Y6G8QT).
But deploying your CODE only when it’s comfortable, convenient, easy, straightforward, etc. does not work…
Your CODE is your CODE and it’s critical that your CODE drives all decisions - even if the decision is hard first and easy second.
Let me give you an example of how FIRM I am regarding my code…
Remember - my overriding CODE is…
Do what’s RIGHT regardless of who is watching and what other people think.
There are many beliefs right now on masks and I am NOT here to say who is right or wrong and everyone should have the freedom to choose what is RIGHT for them.
Our kids were attending a wonderful Montessori school in CT. The school decided, on their own, to mandate masks on children for 3+ for the entire day. For us, this violated our CODE so although it would be MUCH easier to keep our kids in that program, we unenrolled them 2-days before school started and began to search for a different school that offered freedom of choice.
AND we found one - an even better Montessori program - 60-minutes away!
Remember- your CODE is not something you do when it’s convenient or easy or even logical.
Your CODE is your CODE.
So, we enrolled our children into this new school, rented an office space in this new community so we could remain in proximity to the campus, and we drove 2 hours each day to ensure our children had an optimal educational experience.
And guess what happened…
On Day 10 - the Governor of CT decided to eliminate our freedom of choice and mandated masks on children 3+ for the entire day.
Remember- your CODE is not something you do when it’s convenient or easy or even logical.
Your CODE is your CODE.
We unenrolled our kids yet again, ended our rental office with a penalty, and went back to the drawing board…
I kept on reciting to myself over and over…
My CODE is to do what’s RIGHT regardless of who is watching and what other people think.

Regardless of what other people think…
In one week, we decided to move to Naples, FL, packed the house, found a new home, and made all arrangements to have our children start school in a Montessori program that gave parents the choice of whether their kids wear masks.
I hope you are able to extract the value from the message as it has NOTHING to do with MASKS.
But rather - it has to do with being FIRM on your CODE.
Your CODE must be unwavering…
Your CODE must be the tool for every decision you make…
Your CODE cannot be compromised…
Your CODE is your CODE in all areas of your life…
And you can adamantly disagree with me regarding masks - which is 100% okay - but just agree with me when I say that your CODE matters - in a really significant way - your CODE matters.
