Show Up And Execute Or Don’t

I was given permission to share a conversation I had a few months ago with someone I don’t really know very well, but they asked me a question on FB…
“HOW DO YOU DO IT?”
I was not sure what they were referring to so I asked...
“Do you mind sharing what you mean?”
They proceeded to say the following…
“I just love watching you. It’s obvious that your family is of utmost importance, you seem to be involved with many different businesses, and you are in great shape. And I am just curious - how do you do it?”
It’s interesting because this might come across arrogant, but I know that I am a great example for people and I also know that I share this with ZERO ego and ZERO arrogance, I just walk my talk and this is something that serves those who are eager, willing, and able to go from A to B in their life.
But here’s the answer I shared with this inquisitive mind and then I will go deeper for you…
“I execute. I don’t talk about what I am going to do, but rather I talk about what I have done. I also don’t care what anyone thinks which means that I am never in a state of second guessing myself AND at the same time, I care what everyone thinks so it allows me to remain humble, egoless, and empathetic. But the real secret is…
I EXECUTE!”
I want to make sure you see this…
I don’t talk about what I am going to do…
I only talk about what I have done!
And when I say done…
I mean like IT’S DONE - not fabricated so it looks good or sounds good or sounds even better than good - I talk about what has happened and what I have learned in the process so that YOU can then model what you like, disregard what you don’t, and TAKE ACTION.
Here’s reality…
99.999999999999% of the world gets stuck in their head…
And their head sounds like this…
“What if people don’t like my idea…”
“What if people don’t buy my product or service…”
“What if people disagree with me…”
“What if my family doubts me…”
“What if I don’t have what it takes…”
And yes, there are other statements you might be making above and beyond what I just shared, but I am fairly certain that this represents the typical conversation people have with themselves.
As a result - EXECUTION does not happen!
And let me explain why this matters…
I am DEFINITELY NOT the smartest dude you know…
I most certainly DO NOT have the greatest ideas…
I absolutely DON’T consider myself to be the best entrepreneur on the block…
But what I am 100% certain that I am better than almost anyone is the following…
I EXECUTE!
I don’t get romantic about what I think others will think…
I don’t overthink my ideas and whether they will work…
I don’t EVER get caught up with the details…
I just EXECUTE and I FORCE those around me to do the same because…
I deeply believe that every person on the planet that has an idea, along with a goal, and a vision for a better tomorrow - BUT - their mind is getting in the way…
So, allow me to FORCE you FORWARD - deal?
Because right now you have a choice…
1 - Show Up And Execute
2 - Or Don’t
And the outcome of your decision will be exactly as expected.
If you choose 1…
The world better get ready for you…
If you choose 2…
You better get ready for the world…
So, which is it…
EXECUTE
or DON’T
For me - I choose to execute for the following reasons…
1 - I deeply care that my kids see someone who walks their talk.
2 - I am required to bring my ideas to life otherwise I am not fulfilling my responsibility in this life.
3 - I want to be a model for you so that you have the courage to do the same.
Once again…
EXECUTE
or DON’T
And when you choose EXECUTE, you will get what you ultimately desire, and if you choose DON’T, you will absolutely not.
PLEASE don’t settle for mediocrity…
PLEASE don’t settle for your story that is holding you back…
PLEASE don’t die with your ideas inside…
CHOOSE to execute TODAY!
