What does it mean to WIN for you?
I find that many people don’t even know what their WIN is and as a result, they almost always feel like they are losing.
But true WINNERS don’t always get the trophy, but they most certainly NEVER LOSE.
Let’s dig into this because I want you to NOT lose and I also want you to step into WINNER mode.
For many years now, I have told people that I NEVER lose, I just ensure everyone around me also WINS.
Some people have been turned off by this statement…
They find it arrogant…
Some even say it's condescending…
Others think I am brash…
What if all of these naysayers adopted this NEVER LOSE mentality…?
What if all of these critics stopped worrying about my word choice and stepped into the frame of WINNERS?
What if YOU made the decision to never lose again?

There have been countless times in my life from my early days as an athlete to even more recently as an entrepreneur where someone else WON, but I did not LOSE.
You see, I am always the WINNER because a WINNER to me is the following…

There is zero reference to having more points, making more money, or getting more awards.
Being a WINNER is a CHARACTER decision instead of the need for RECOGNITION.

I have ZERO drive to be famous, other than with my kids.
I have ZERO need to get an award, other than best dad (from my kids).
I have ZERO motivation to be recognized, other than by my kids.
And since my value is measured by WINNER mentality, I have nothing to prove, and I NEVER lose.
Early This Year I Dominated A Sales Competition
You may or may not know that I Co-Founded a sales company at the end of 2019 and then sold my equity in the middle of 2020 to shift my focus to where I knew I would make the most significant impact.
Prior to my departure, I was challenged to participate in a sales competition by one of the Co-Founders who has probably made 100,000 more sales calls than myself.
EVERYONE said I had no chance…
EVERYONE said the odds were stacked against me…
EVERYONE said I would LOSE!
But what EVERYONE did know was…
I NEVER lose, I just ensure everyone around me also WINS.
So the competition began and I was chosen to go first…
It was a sales role-play and I needed to sell to the other person who would eventually swap roles and sell to me.
Remember…

Well, I won before the other person even began.
It was almost comical how much he lost even before uttering one word.
The judges were laughing…
Our team could not believe it…
The audience was stunned…
But remember…
I NEVER lose, I just ensure everyone around me also WINS.
What I mean by this statement is that I was the CLEAR winner - but I also made sure that the other person was acknowledged, looked up VERY favorably, and walked away as a WINNER although he did not WIN.
His character was intact…
People loved him more after than before…
He felt whole, complete, and perfect…
And he would NOT have felt this way if I only WON and was not a WINNER.
Please don’t get caught up in the semantics of this distinction…
WINNING and being a WINNER are two distinct things…
WINNING means someone else loses.
WINNER means everyone WINS.
Which is what I stand to do in the world and it’s the reason why the majority of people will NEVER let me lose…
It’s why when I reach out - I always get a response.
It’s why when I launch something new - I always have people buying.
It’s why when I make a bold declaration - I always have supporters.
It’s because I chose to be a WINNER and now people will NOT let me lose.
But realize…
This is a CHOICE you can make too…
No One Wants To Support Someone Who Is Winning, But EVERYONE Wants To Support A WINNER!
This realization hit me in 2020 in such a significant way, although I always knew it in theory, I personally never fully witnessed it until this year.
One of the people I deeply interacted with in a business venture was always WINNING.
VERY successful…
TONS of accolades…
IMMENSE amounts of money…
But this person was a BIG LOSER because as they were WINNING, everyone around them was LOSING and NO ONE wanted them to WIN.
Eventually, this catches up to the person who is WINNING and they will be dethroned and they will be broken and they will LOSE!
This is an absolute guarantee and it always happens…
Just look at the Ponzi Schemes of the world - someone is WINNING, but they are NOT winners and they end up LOSING!
Or the celebrity scandals that take place - someone is WINNING, but they are NOT winners and they end up LOSING!
Or the politicians that take advantage of everything - someone is WINNING, but they are NOT winners and they end up LOSING!
I can’t emphasize enough how much of a DECISION it is to be a WINNER and this is a decision that you don’t just make ONE TIME, but you make minute by minute, hour by hour, and day by day.
You make this decision whenever you need to make a decision based on how you decide.
You make this decision whenever you need to make a declaration based on what you declare.
You make this decision whenever you need to take action based on the action you take.
Being a WINNER is not part of your DNA, it‘s not ETERNAL, it’s not a GIVEN…
Being a WINNER is a freaking choice and I encourage you deeply to make this DECISION starting RIGHT NOW and here’s how…

Do as I say and as I do. Contradictions lead to destruction and it’s impossible to be a WINNER and have contradictions.
Live With Integrity
Integrity is doing the RIGHT thing regardless of who is watching and who will ever know. WINNERS always do what’s right.
Do As You Say You Will Do
Follow-the freak-through. Lack of follow-through is a LOSER mentality and WINNERS always accomplish what they say they will do.
Step Into Leadership
Being a WINNER is a prerequisite to being a LEADER because NO ONE will follow a LOSER.
Inspire Those Around You
WINNERS always lift people up and help them see what they see so that they can be, do, and have more in their lives.
Be Proud Of The Person In The Mirror
Winners exude certainty, confidence, and conviction and they LOVE themselves which is why others LOVE them too.
Never Quit
Winners hold on and persist when all the odds are against them because they have chosen to NEVER lose.
When You Rise Others Rise Equally If Not Even More
Winners get more satisfaction and drive from helping people surpass them whereas LOSERS hold people back.
Own Up When Owning Up Is Needed
Winners take personal responsibility when things don’t go their way OR if they make a poor judgement call and they immediately fix it whereas LOSERS point fingers.
If You Are Turned Off - Look In The Mirror
I am sorry if I upset you with this article…
I am sorry if you feel the word LOSER is too extreme…
I am sorry if what you just read hit an emotional chord…
But I am also NOT sorry because I am a WINNER and WINNERS also do the RIGHT thing regardless of the amount of effort, resistance, or challenge they will face.
And the RIGHT thing is to help you recognize that BEING a WINNER is a CHOICE and BEING a LOSER is a CHOICE…
The question you now must answer is…
Which CHOICE will you make?!
