What does FREEDOM mean to you?
Growing up, I felt like I had everything but FREEDOM.
Parents divorce
A roller-coaster of emotions
Exposure to tons and tons of things that probably were not ideal for a child
And the list continues...
But I have nothing but gratitude for every experience because each made me the man I am today...
And I am very proud of this man...
For a variety of reasons, but mainly for ONE big one...
I have not stopped until FREEDOM (as I define it) became my norm and I absolutely encourage you to do the same if you have not arrived at this magical place yet.
For me...
I believe freedom is the ability to do whatever you want, whenever you want, and as often as you want without ever asking CAN I and only boldly proclaiming I CAN.
And this is not just about money, although money could make you feel/become more free (if you have done the internal work to ensure that money is in service of you versus a disservice of you)...
It's also about your relationships, your code (aka values), your career, your geographics, your health, etc. etc. etc.
And here's the craziest part about FREEDOM...
You can have it in all areas besides for ONE and that ONE area will hold you captive and you will lose what you worked so diligently to achieve.
So here's what you need to do...
Create FREEDOM in every area...PERIOD!
Decide to do HARD to EASY versus EASY to HARD in life because when you do the hard work now, life becomes progressively easier versus putting the hard off into the future and wondering why you still don't have your be-all, end-all.
You might not agree with any of this - and that's cool - I just know that I have invested 1,000's of hours thinking about freedom and even more importantly, taking massive action to create FREEDOM and this is what I learned.
